Upper Green Side is a community organization working to make New York’s Upper East Side more environmentally sustainable. We bring together neighbors interested in green urban living. Our primary focus is the area covered by Community Board 8 (East 59th Street to East 96th Street, Fifth Avenue to the East River, and Roosevelt Island). Please join us, or just stay informed and take action.

Upper Green Side was founded by Glenn McAnanama who is President and Chairman of the Board of Directors. There are four other officers who also serve on the board of directors.
